ONBOARDING

A comprehensive review of your existing business goals, operations and communication efforts will serve as a helpful foundation for an informed strategic plan.

Additionally, a marketing audit will summarize performance trends and audience composition on your channels to date, helping understand who has gravitated to your platform thus far and what types of content they find engaging. This review sets a baseline for future performance.

STRATEGIZE

After aligning on priorities, it’s time to dig into a communications planning process that supports the company’s most important goals – and the target audiences whose actions will accomplish them.

EXECUTE

A strategy is only as good as its implementation. Following onboarding and alignment on strategy, it’s time to deliver impactful results on paid, earned and owned media channels.

Execution of this strategy can scale up or down depending on how many markets we target, how much content we develop, and how aggressively we pursue sources of new leads. An “ease-in” approach is certainly possible, however we don’t recommend selectively activating on one or two channels while neglecting the others. A brand experience is made up of multiple touchpoints. Those should each be calibrated. Operational tools like a shared content calendar and always-on performance dashboard will help keep the team on track.

OPTIMIZE

Communications and marketing channels provide opportunities to evaluate both qualitative results (e.g., messaging, tone) and quantitative (e.g., impressions, engagements, clicks). This allows us to collect actionable data and make informed decisions – while still giving space for the human element to bring it all together.

Tracking analytics on each channel – and correlating to our most meaningful outcomes like applicant and client leads – not only helps optimize our efforts throughout the year, but also prove a return on investment. By setting up an easy-to-interpret reporting process, we will all have the information needed to gauge performance and make decisions on where to focus.
